Unveiled during an exclusive event on June 26 at Milano Prime Linate Airport — with a perfectly choreographed static display featuring a Flexjet Gulfstream G650, a Sikorsky S-76, and a Riva Aquariva Special motoryacht — the collaboration between global private aviation leader Flexjet and the legendary Ferretti Group marks a new chapter in high-design travel.
Born from the official partnership established in May 2024, this design-forward interiors project draws directly from the DNA of both brands: Flexjet’s LXi Cabin Collection™ interiors, renowned for their customization and boutique hotel-level sophistication, and Riva’s signature nautical glamour, rooted in 1960s iconography and modern Italian flair.

Riva, Reimagined at 51,000 Feet
At the heart of the launch is the Gulfstream G650, Flexjet’s ultra-long-range jet that seats up to 15 passengers and connects global capitals like New York, Tokyo, London, Milan, and Singapore with up to 16 hours of uninterrupted flight. The cabin itself is a masterclass in immersive design:
-
Rich, high-gloss striped-wood veneers nod to Riva’s unmistakable deckwork.
-
A palette of aquamarine and deep Blu Sera bring the sea skyward, accented with polished metallic trims.
-
Hand-stitched leather seats, piped in Riva’s signature teal, are embroidered with the yachtmaker’s iconic insignia.
-
A silken carpet, inspired by the sleek glide of a yacht slicing through water, anchors the space.
-
Nautical striped “kibitzer” social seating pops up mid-flight for conversation and Champagne.
-
Even the tableware — from Riva china to gleaming silver — has been hand-selected to elevate the inflight experience, served by Flexjet’s Red Label-trained cabin crew.

And Now, Helicopters — With a Riviera State of Mind
Riva Volare’s influence doesn’t stop at 51,000 feet. Two Sikorsky S-76 helicopters — one stationed in Florida and the other in Flexjet’s newest helicopter base in Milan — now feature the same refined design language. These aircraft represent the expansion of Flexjet’s rotary-wing operations across mainland Europe, complementing existing services in New York, Florida, The Bahamas, and London.
The Milan-based S-76 will serve Italy and the French Riviera — a highly in-demand region for summer travel — offering a seamless, yacht-to-helicopter-to-jet experience for both new clients and existing Owners. Ferretti Group clients will also enjoy privileged access to the new helicopter offering, allowing for efficient, stylish transfers along the Mediterranean coast.

A Vision Realized in Carbon Fiber and Teak
Crafted through months of close collaboration between the in-house design teams at both Flexjet and Ferretti Group, Riva Volare brings yachting’s tactile, sensual appeal to aviation. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to evoke the romance of the sea — from the bold interplay of textures and tonal contrasts to the meticulous finishes that speak to a legacy of Italian excellence.

As Flexjet Chairman Kenn Ricci put it: “I’ve long admired the iconic style of Riva, and seeing this brought to life in our aircraft is nothing short of exceptional. At Flexjet, design isn’t just an aesthetic layer — it’s fundamental to the experience. Riva Volare is a bold statement of where we’re headed as a modern luxury brand, and a fitting celebration of our 30th year.”
Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi added: “Riva style is an expression of elegance — on sea, on land, and now in the sky. With Flexjet, we’ve created an experience that’s not only beautiful, but emotionally resonant. Riva Volare is the ultimate luxury escape.”
