Haute Alert: Rag & Bone’s Miramar “Jeans” Are The Only Pants You Will Ever Need
These pants have changed me. I’m not kidding. I’ve never really been a pants person. Typically I’ll wear leggings, shorts, skirts, dresses, maybe an occasional jean here or there, but I’m all about comfort. Then I found out about the Rag & Bone Miramar line of “denim” and realized that I can have it all: comfort and class.
The Miramar pants have the look of jeans yet are an iteration of a lightweight, stretchy sweatpant. Coming in a variety of washes, elastic and button waistband versions, and multiple materials, you can choose the Miramar that best suits you. My two personal favorites: The satin carpenter style and the black cotton terry pair.
Miramar Satin Logan Carpenter Pants
Referred to as a “liquid satin,” the composition of these jeans is unworldly and unparalleled. They are weightless, giving a barely-there feel that is the pinnacle of comfort. The shimmery sheen also elevates these pants, so I can dress them up with a heel for a night out in New York City.
Miramar Terry Sofie Wide-Leg Pants
These are slightly heftier than the satin style, but still even more lightweight than traditional sweatpants or jeans. The flexible fabric is breathable, furthered by the wide-leg style. With functional belt loops and front scoop pockets, these have the denim look with the ease of sweats.
There’s more, too. While Miramar refers to the brand’s denim-printed sweatpant fabrication, the collection spans beyond just pants. There’s dresses, long-sleeves, tank tops, tees, and more—all appearing to be structured denim while being buttery to the touch.
