This past Thursday, March 30th, our Haute Living cultural ambassador Radmila Lolly once again brought the “MAGIC” to our own “Magic City” of Miami, performing at the season opener game of the Miami Marlins vs. the NY Mets at LoanDepot Park.

She performed a brand-new medley of her song MAGIC — and its remix MAGIC (Beach House Remix) — and was joined by DJ Mike Tee (the creator of the remix), four local dancers, and accompanied by musicians of the Henry Mancini Institute at the Frost School of Music. The performance was an exciting spectacle, with all the women in the orchestra and choir dressed in Lolly’s own gown designs from her couture line Eltara Casata by Radmila Lolly. The show culminated in Lolly joining the dancers by doing an impressive backbend to the ground while singing her highest note of the show.

“Me performing and laying down while hitting a high A – it felt like an eternity at the moment, but in a good way! That second was something I had been planning for so long, and then when it really happened, it felt like an out-of-body experience,” recalls Lolly. “I knew I had to come back to reality and finish the song, but at that moment, it felt endless.”

It would be impossible to ignore Lolly’s stunning gown, which is one of her now famous jersey gowns that went viral when she wore them at the Miami Heat games. Yet, this time, created from Marlins jerseys. Both the gown and performance are another way that Lolly has combined her love of her dual arts of fashion and music, among her love for Miami sports.

“It was the first time for the Marlins to have anyone perform like that, so I felt very honored and special,” says Lolly. “The excitement of performing for the opening day can’t be replaced or forgotten! The fans are ready for the whole season to support their team, and that is just the beginning of a new season. There will be tears of joy, tears of happiness, and sadness.”
