Guests arrived at Zero Bond, one of New York’s most exclusive private membership clubs. Known for its ‘work hard, play harder’ atmosphere, Zero Bond is home to intimate workspaces during the day, along with multiple restaurants, bars, and private event spaces that carry their guests into the night for curated exclusive experiences.

The dinner began with a cocktail hour with great conversation and even better drinks. Seth Semilof, the Publisher of Haute Living, graciously welcomed guests with a speech before introducing David Hurley, the Deputy CEO of The Watches of Switzerland Group and President North America, to say a few words. The room then raised their glasses of The Glen Grant, toasting Cox and his new beginnings.

For an extra special touch, the Global Whisky Advocate for The Glen Grant, Robin Coupar, presented cover star Cox with a special bottle of The Glen Grant 21-Year-Old, signed by Master Distiller Dennis Malcom, Scotland’s longest-serving distiller with over 60 years of experience, on the day of its Global premier. The new release now represents the oldest expression in The Glen Grant’s permanent collection.

The signature cocktails of the night were offered to the guests by The Glen Grant. These included the flavorful Speyside Splendour, which consisted of The Glen Grant 12-Year-Old, lemon, Aperol, dried chili reduction, blood orange, and egg white, garnished with a sliced blood orange wheel as well as the Woodland cocktail curated with The Glen Grant 12-Year-Old, liqueur, vermouth, and angostura bitters.

Throughout the evening, guests also indulged in a vintage collection of timepieces curated by Analog:Shift by Watches of Switzerland— which Cox wore on the cover.

Starting off, the first course offered shrimp tempura or a vegetarian Oshinko, followed by a second course of kale & brussels sprout salad, bluefin tuna & crispy rice, or a Mediterranean chopped salad.

An array of desserts were served after, including cheesecake, fruit plates, and caramel chocolate tarts.
