The latest #HourPushUp Challenge, held in December 2022, raised funds for Udonis Haslem Foundation and Make-A-Wish Southern Florida. Pillars of the Miami community, Marc Megna and Chris Paciello, joined the Miami HEAT legend to participate in this special and meaningful experience, challenging themselves for a cause. This event was also a celebration of Udonis Haslem’s charitable efforts as he enters his 20th and final season for the Miami HEAT. Anatomy’s 2022 #HourPushUpChallenge took place at Anatomy Coconut Grove located at 3363 Pan American Dr, Miami, FL 3313.

The worthwhile event invited members and guests to work out for wishes and the future of the Miami community, calling upon participants to do as many pushups as they physically could in a one-hour timeframe. Prior to the challenge, each of the participants collected monetary pledges, donated on a per push-up basis.

Supporters of the event also donated flat-fee donations via the website. The entirety of the funds raised per push-up will be donated to the Udonis Haslem Foundation and Make-A-Wish Southern Florida to help enrich lives of people in local underserved communities and grant wishes to local wish kids.

Udonis Haslem’s team, Team UD, consisted of five other members: Erik Spoelstra, Miami HEAT Head Coach; Eric Foran, Miami HEAT Strength & Conditioning Coach; Hunter Glascock, Miami HEAT Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach; Octavio De La Grana, Miami HEAT Assistant Coach; Scott Gurka, Miami HEAT Director of Basketball Administration.

The group raised money doing push-ups together with an initial goal of completing 2,000 push-ups in an hour and exceeded that goal, completing 4,500 push-ups, raising over $150,000.

The City of Miami Police Chief Manny Morales also created a team which included: Major Um Set Ramos, Major Jose Fernandez, Commander Jack Freire and Executive Officer David Valentin.

To date, the #HourPushUpChallenge has raised more than $568,000 and granted over 110 wishes for kids. Last year marked the first #HourPushUpChallenge where Udonis Haslem Foundation joined forces with Anatomy and Make-A-Wish Southern Florida for this event, helping to raise an excess of $215,000.
