There’s no denying that the ’90s were the epitome of street style and continue to be a source of inspiration for today’s luxury fashion houses. As the ultimate tribute to the ’90s, Louis Vuitton has officially dropped its latest sneaker: the LV Skate Sneaker.
First seen on the Fall/Winter 2022 runway in Paris, where the Maison presented ????? Dreamhouse™️ Men’s Fall-Winter 2022 Collection, which combined the themes and messages of the eight-season arc that the late Virgil Abloh created for Louis Vuitton, the new sneaker serves as a part of the late Creative Director’s final men’s collection for Vuitton. The new shoe sports a Ninetines-inspired silhouette with a modern flair that revisits Vuitton’s signature details in a new way through bicolor uppers and Monogram Flower detailing.

When it comes to the construction of the shoes, they combine technical mesh, calf leather, and suede and are notably designed with a padded collar, double laces, and a rubber outsole that’s embellished with their signature Monogram Flower. The LV Skate Sneaker comes in an elevated color range of black, red, marine, and beige — each versatile for personal style. Louis Vuitton remains at the forefront of the dynamic sneaker industry, and with the LV Skate Sneaker as the latest drop, there’s no slowing down for the brand.
