Swim Week is the time of year in Miami where swimwear lovers and designers gather to see the latest trends and designs. Some might say that there is no need for this type of event any more or that it is boring. World Red Eye founder Seth Browarnik has found the cure to bring life back into Swim Week with his latest venture, Nu Wave Swim.

Miami’s World Red Eye founder Seth Browarnik is re-igniting Swim Week by introducing a new approach to praise swimwear in Miami. Browarnik has captured the evolution of SwimShow through his lens throughout the years and is now ready to introduce a new multi-day experiential platform encompassing high-end activations, presentations, and runway shows.

As a fourth-generation Miami Beach resident, Seth is passionate about projects that have an effective impact on the community and is excited to share this addition to Swim Week alongside his partners Michele Addison and Judy Stein. “Six years ago when IMG pulled out, there was a hole in Swim Week,” states Browarnik.

Nu Wave Swim is an experiential hub for designers to launch their latest swim collections. Led by Partners Seth Browarnik, Michele Addison, formerly with Modern Luxury, along with Judy Stein, Executive Director SwimShow, Nu Wave Swim will create a tropical paradise at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden from July 11th-14th hosting a variety of wellness activations, runway shows, fashion presentations, cocktail parties, after-parties and more. To strengthen its position in ocean preservation, Nu Wave Swim will team up with Miami Waterkeeper to advocate for swimmable, drinkable and fishable water for all.

“There is a huge opportunity for growth in our city so there is no better time than now to revitalize, re-awaken, and reignite Swim Week, Miami’s most exciting week of the summer. Nu Wave Swim will infuse new energy into Swim Week and will provide brands a hyper-targeted and relevant audience while giving a focus to our local partners.” declares Browarnik.

On July 11th, Nu Wave Swim will kick off Miami Swim Week with a celebration with The House of Suntory to bring their Tiny House immersive experience to Miami for one night only at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden. The Tiny House is a transportable, elegant Japanese bar where guests both inside and outside will experience the highest form of omotenashi, or Japanese hospitality. Guests will be educated on House of Suntory Japanese spirits Toki Whisky, Haku Vodka, and Roku Gin, the unique culture that inspired the spirits and the refreshment of the highball cocktail.

In addition to the fashion shows and presentations, Soho Beach House will host a Fashion for Breakfast panel at Nu Wave Swim on July 14th with swimwear designer panelists Amahlia Stevens, Parke Lutter, Red Carter, Rod Beattie, and Tori Praver.

Nu Wave Swim will close Miami Swim Week with a multi-designer runway show, Nu Wave Collective, on July 14th at 7:00 pm. This runway show will feature two up-and-coming designer brands, Charmosa and Revival, providing them with a place to reveal their collections and attract new audiences.
