The Capucines bag, first launched six years ago, is quickly becoming one of Louis Vuitton’s iconic bags. To elevate it even further, the House has partnered with six of the world’s most renowned artists to reimagine the bag with their signature styles to create the limited edition ArtyCapucines collection. These artists are Sam Falls, Urs Fischer, Nicholas Hlobo, Alex Israel, Tschabalala Self and Jonas Wood.

This, of course, is not the first time LV has collaborated with some of the most celebrated global artists, previously working with Takashi Murakami and Jeff Koons, among others. The Capucines bags serve as the perfect ‘blank canvas’ for the artists, each of whom put a completely unique spin on the style.

For instance, Alex Israel utilizes an eye-catching wave design with bold coloring, while Jonas Woods’ version has digital printing and 3D embroidery, and Urs Fischer’s slightly whimsical version has a choice between hand-crafted food items, including an egg, banana and a carrot, all of which are removable.
