ETRO Launches Exclusive Star Wars Capsule Collection In Anticipation Of Upcoming Film Release

With the ninth episode of the smash hit movie series Star Wars coming out in a few months—Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, directed by the legendary J.J. Abrams—ETRO has launched an exclusive capsule collection collaborating with the franchise, under Walt Disney Pictures’ Lucasfilm. Per the House’s creative director, Kean Etro, the fun and whimsical collection reflects the same values as the film: family, love, curiosity and generosity.

Debuting on ETRO’s Spring/Summer 2020 collection show, the unisex collection includes a wide array of wearable, everyday styles, including a hoodie, a crewneck sweatshirt, two shirts, five t-shirts and a bomber jacket, touting digital prints of recognizable frames from some of the older Star Wars episodes from the ’70s and the ’80s. Characters like Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia Organa of Alderaan and R2D2 make appearances as well, while a specific print boasts Etro’s favorite character, Yoda, from a scene from 1980’s The Empire Strikes Back.

Available beginning Monday July 1st at ETRO international stores, select online retailers and on the brand’s website, the ETRO x Star Wars collection is sure to be a smash hit among fashionistas and film buffs alike.
