The Fleur Room Opens At Moxy Chelsea With Stunning 360° City Views

As rooftop season is lurking around the corner, newly opened The Fleur Room at the Moxy Chelsea may become New Yorkers’ new go-to spot. Located 35 floors above the iconic Flower District, the restaurant/lounge boasts stunning 360-degree views of the city, made even more stunning by the retractable floor-to-ceiling windows.

The interior décor has a botanical theme, via its furniture, a copper bar, a vintage disco ball originating from a popular 1980s club called Vertigo, as well as the floral embellishments made by Putnam & Putnam. As Creative Director, Angelo Bianchi—who is responsible for some of NYC’s biggest hotspots including The Blond and The Beatrice Inn—oversees all curation of programming and events, while the interior design was developed in partnership with Rockwell Group and TAO Group.

It’s no surprise that the beautiful space has already been frequented by some of Hollywood’s A-listers, including Idris Elba, G-Eazy, Josephine Skriver and even the legendary Mick Jagger. But it’s not just the aesthetic that’s attracting the elite crowd; it’s also the food and beverage, curated by Executive Chef Jason Hall. Bar menu highlights include the black truffle popcorn and the tea sandwiches with king crab salad, while main menu highlights include the steak frites and delectable treats such as cotton candy and mini ice cream cones. Oh, and don’t forget to try the signature cocktail—Fleur of the Valley—made with Grey Goose, prosecco, fresh strawberries and basil.

Pop in for dinner or just for drinks and light bites during happy hour to enjoy the gorgeous sunset views. The menu is available until midnight, though the venue plans to soon extend its hours until much later.
