Alicia Keys To Host 2019 Grammy Awards
The 61st Annual Grammy Awards show is fast approaching, and this year will be complete with 15-time Grammy Award Winning artist Alicia Keys helming the stage as the host of the 2019 high-profile affair, as reported Tuesday morning by the recording academy. The show will air on February 10th at the Los Angeles Staples Center and highlight this year’s top musical talents. Nominees include Cardi B, Drake, Post Malone, Childish Gambino, Kendrick Lamar, Brandi Carlile, Janelle Monáe, Kacey Musgraves, Shawn Mendes, Lady Gaga, Luke Combs, Dua Lipa, Bebe Rexha, Ariana Grande, Camila Cabello, Taylor Swift and more. It’s poised to be an evening of top talent, high fashion and the music industry’s greatest night.
The announcement came from Keys herself via YouTube and Instagram, where she excitedly captioned her video, “I’m soooo EXCITED to announce that I’ll be hosting the 61st Annual Grammy Awards!! There’s so much in store and I CAN’T WAIT for y’all to see it ALL come to life .”
The Queen of Soul will follow James Corden who was the host of the show the past two years, and LL Cool J who hosted for five years prior to that. Not only is it a huge honor for Keys, but also to all women in music, to be headlining the show with such a strong and inspirational female voice.
We’re very excited to see the beautiful Alicia Keys—a former Haute Living cover star and dear friend—take the stage for an undoubtedly magical and memorable evening.
