On Wednesday June 13, Haute Living celebrated Atlanta cover star Jermaine Dupri in anticipation of his induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Jermaine will be the second hip-hop artist to enter the Songwriters Hall of Fame, following in the profound footsteps of Jay-Z.

Friends and family came together for an intimate evening at The New York Edition‘s Clocktower where they spent the night toasting Jermaine and sharing anecdotes of their time with the legendary artist. It was a incredible evening filled with laughter, love, and celebration – and an amazing time was had by all.

Jon Platt, Swizz, Maxwell, and Dupri’s daughter Shaniah Mauldin toasted Dupri with heartfelt speeches throughout the course of the evening, one more epic and touching than the next.

Talented artist Paul Gerben commissioned a James Bond inspired piece for Dupri as well as two small unique sculptures.
