The world’s largest Crème de la Mer jar, which stands at 18 feet high and wide, is making its debut at South Coast Plaza this month from May 10-13. Offering the community of beauty devotees in Southern California exclusive experiences and luxurious skincare treatments for four days only, this multi-sensorial immersion transports attendees into the world of La Mer with a special introduction to each of its five moisture textures – Rich, Soft, Sheer, Balanced and Cool.
In conjunction with the brand’s Love La Mer campaign—featuring actress and longtime La Mer devotee Kate Hudson—the temporary installation in South Coast Plaza’s Jewel Court invites guests to step inside the jar and bathe in the soft glow of underwater lighting reminiscent of the sea. Alas, you can’t purchase this gigantic jar, but the brand’s products will be available exclusively at Sephora in the Bloomingdale‘s Wing at the luxury retail center in Costa Mesa.
