Big Little Lies: Reese Witherspoon And Nicole Kidman Return
It was supposed to end with the first season, but HBO confirmed Big Little Lies will luckily be returning.
With the second season underway, executive producers Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman will assume their same roles on Big Little Lies.
“I’m thrilled to be bringing back this talented team of artists. It gives us the opportunity to delve deeper into the lives of these intriguing and intricate Monterey families and bring more of their stories back to the audience who embraced and championed them,” said Witherspoon Vulture reports.
Big Little Lies’ return introduces four new characters to the show with Michael Perkins as the new second-grade teacher. A new school administration employee will also be introduced. The last two new additions to the show will be Bonnie’s parents Elizabeth and Martin Howard.
“I’m beyond excited to be working with talented and acclaimed director Andrea Arnold who will be at the helm. Andrea’s unique storytelling style will be a welcome addition to the filmmaking team,” said Witherspoon.
