The Roof At The Viceroy Central Park Is A Winter Wonderland

Winter Room

The holiday season has officially swept the city. With tinsel and decorations adorning every shop window and streetlamp, New Yorkers are getting into the holiday spirit everywhere, especially while heading out on the town.

In the spirit of the holiday season, The Roof, the bar atop the Viceroy Central Park, is decking the halls for a complete transformation to “Winter Room at The Roof”. The space is full of boughs of holly and holiday cheer, with white snowy branches climbing along the rooftop, giant floral arrangements, and a hot toddy for everyone to sip while looking out over the (soon to be) snow covered Central Park.

The menu at the space will stay current, with additional dishes being added with a holiday theme, warm cocktails for to combat the winter weather, and in a partnership with Veuve, Winter Room will feature “Veuve Cliquot In The Snow”, a pop up bar on the terrace. Thankfully, the space will all be enclosed for the chilly season.

Be sure to come with an empty stomach though too, because the only thing that goes better with the bar’s signature cocktails for the season are the fondue options: either Vermont cheddar cheese or chocolate sweets.

While popularity around The Roof has continued growing over the years, Winter Room continues to draw in crowds with an impressive view, delicious cocktails and bites, and a welcoming embrace to get any New Yorker into the holiday spirit.
