Newport, Rhode Island’s $15.5M ‘Bird House’ Estate Is Owned By Campbell Soup Heiress
An elaborate estate, owned by Campbell Soup heiress Dorrance Hill Hamilton, in ritzy Newport, Rhode Island has been listed on the market for $12.5 million, The Wall Street Journal reported.
Hamilton named the residence “The Bird House” for the plethora of birdhouses that are positioned around the property. On the grounds near the pond, there is a detailed peacock sculpture, as well as plenty more bird embellishments, inside and out.

Built in 2012, the six-bedroom, eight-bathroom house, with 9,719 square feet of interior space, is sited on 3.67 acres in the historic Ocean Drive area, which is recognized for its extravagant estates.
