Weekend Roundup: Jewelry Brand Mejuri Teams Up for Women’s Human Rights
Jewelry brand Mejuri, creator of “everyday fine jewelry,” has teamed up with the Urgent Action Fund for Women’s Human Rights to donate half of the profits of the sales of their Evil Eye collection to support women and trans human rights defenders.
Within 24-72 hours of receiving requests from activists, Urgent Action Fund sends funds to advance women’s rights in pivotal moments and protects the lives of human rights defenders under threat. Mejuri’s goal is that their customer base of women work to uplift and support other women in their communities, so we all become stronger together. Using the #MeForHer hashtag, Mejuri is working with influencers in the digital space to spread awareness about the campaign.
