Porsche Shows Prowess With New 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series

Can you make the best better? Porsche for sure thought so, and created the new 911 Turbo S Exclusives Series to prove it. They approached this two-way: by increasing its already daunting performance, and by putting in place even higher standards for the finishing of the car.

To ensure this the 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series is made by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur. They create bespoke Porsche’s as well as the limited editions for the brand, and will finish the Exclusive Series by hand. With this car Porsche will also launch the “Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur”-brand worldwide, advising customers and developing special equipment options for each model.

Finished in a Golden Yellow Metallic, with carbon details, is this 911 Turbo S is for sure an eye catcher. This color combination extends into the interior were a fine copper thread is integrated into the carbon fiber used in the interior, while the black perforated leather seats have two stripes in Golden Yellow as well as matching stitching. Those that rather have a different color: rest assured, Porsche also offers the car in several other specially curated exterior colors!

A 911 is already no slug, a Turbo S for sure not, but with the Exclusives Series Porsche goes even further in terms of performance. By fitting the 3.8-litre six-cylinder biturbo engine with a power kit, they give the 911 Turbo S an additional 27 HP, making for a total of 607 hp. While that is by itself impressive, it is the maximum torque that truly sets this car apart. No less than 750 Nm is available, starting at 2.250 rpm. 0 – 100 km/h is done in 2.9 seconds, and 200 km/h is reached in under 10 seconds.

Porsche will make 500 911 Turbo S cars in the Exclusive Series. If you hurry, your local Porsche dealer might just be able to reserve one for you, which comes by the way also with a watch: a Porsche Design chronograph featuring the same design as the car.
