Five Places To Explore Near The Arts District in Las Vegas

Every first Friday of the month, the arts world in Las Vegas comes to life in downtown Las Vegas. Head to the artsy part of the neighborhood in the Arts District by checking out these restaurants and boutiques.

Start by eating lunch at Lola’s — A Louisiana Kitchen (Holsum Lofts, 241 W. Charleston Blvd., 702-227-5652) for a head start on the action with Cajun cooking. Grab some gumbo, crawdads or étouffée.

A short walk away find Glam Factory Vintage (211 E. Colorado St.), a kitschy collectables boutique with antiques and vintage clothing. This cute little vintage store has a small selection of men’s suits and button ups and polos along with hats. The women’s clothing consisted of long dresses and tea length dresses from several different eras.
