Start by eating lunch at Lola’s — A Louisiana Kitchen (Holsum Lofts, 241 W. Charleston Blvd., 702-227-5652) for a head start on the action with Cajun cooking. Grab some gumbo, crawdads or étouffée.
A short walk away find Glam Factory Vintage (211 E. Colorado St.), a kitschy collectables boutique with antiques and vintage clothing. This cute little vintage store has a small selection of men’s suits and button ups and polos along with hats. The women’s clothing consisted of long dresses and tea length dresses from several different eras.
