Sting’s NYC Duplex Penthouse Is Going for $56M
The New York City duplex penthouse owned by British rock artist, Sting, has been listed with a $56 million price tag, according to press materials.
Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner and his wife, actress and producer, Trudie Styler, bought the residence at 15 Central Park West for 26.98 million, according to public records, in 2008 from the building developer.
They hired interior design firm, SheltonMindel, to add two custom spiral staircases and a spiral-shaped, and a double-sided gas fireplace in the living room of the two-story unit, which spans the 16th and 17th floors of the building.
The 5,417-square-foot, three-bedroom apartment, with a 400-square-foot outdoor terrace, overlooks Central Park and features a home office (or fourth bedroom); as well as an all-white chef’s catering kitchen with two full-sized refrigerators, a Wolf stove top and four ovens, and three Miele dishwashers.
