Hunter III at Silver Lake's Kettle Black has a deep-dish crush so soft and pillowy it will rival anything you'd find in Chicago, but our pick is the Pizza de Parma—arugula, lemon vinaigrette, proscuitto di parma and parmesan reggiano—for its sheer aesthetic.

Given that Steve Samson grew up spending summers in Bologna, Italy (his mother's hometown) you should expect that he's a guy who knows his pizza.
