1 Langham Huntington Pasadena

Matt Armendariz
The elegant Langham Huntington Pasadena has many culinary experiences for mom. Our favorite is the Pink Chocolate Tea with Wedgwood— she'll receive a variety of the finest teas served with a selection of savory tea sandwiches, scones with Devonshire cream, fruits, tarts, mousse torts and creme brulees, all of which contain different chocolate essences. A grand pink chocolate fountain is the focal point of the tea, with surrounding chocolate sculptural art. However, there are other options, too. Enjoy a bountiful brunch in the Viennese Ballroom that includes smoked and fresh seafood; domestic and imported cheeses; artisanal meats; sushi; assortment of salads; specialty entrees; carving station; made-to-order omelets; a chocolate fountain and a variety of pastries and free-flowing champagne. There's also the Dim Sum Brunch on the Terrace—a lavish buffet which includes an omelet and carving station, dim sum, spring vegetables and potatoes, fruit, cereal and pastries, smoked fish and cheese, orange juice, coffee and tea as well as live music in the background, as well as the Chef's Market Brunch at Royce Wood-Fired Steakhouse, an interactive Sunday Market Brunch experience featuring flowing mimosas and Bloody Marys; displays of fresh breakfast pastries and elaborate food displays inside the Red Wine Room, Chef's Table and Kitchen.

2 Culina at the Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills

Everyone knows Culina's brunch spread is one of the best in town, so make sure to get there early to avoid the Mother's Day wait. Newly appointed Executive Chef Mirko Paderno will create the be-all, end-all spread, which includes carving, dim sum, sushi, and Spanish tapas stations alongside dishes such as short rib & potato hash with poached eggs; vanilla Belgium waffles with dulce de leche; corn gnocchi with fava beans and burrata and honey-fried chicken served with silver dollar waffles.

3 Tres by José Andrés at the SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills

Tres by José Andrés is the perfect setting for a Mother's Day meal—your mom will be wowed not only by the elegant decor, but by master chef Andrés' culinary homage to mom. The eatery will offer several stations including a luxurious caviar display; a smoked salmon display featuring Russ & Daughters diamond selection; and an SLS carving display that will feature carvings of roasted leg of lamb and roasted beef tenderloin; as well as some of Andrés' Spanish bites like the papas canarias, pan con tomate, and variety of chilled seafood, chilled pacific prawns, oysters, and crab legs. For the those who are looking to honor moms the week leading up to the holiday (and potentially avoid Sunday brunch traffic), Tres will also showcase their signature Afternoon Tea service from May 7th through 13th – to include the decadently chocolate Enchanted Rose dessert (Beauty & the Beast style) as well as a welcome glass of cava.
