Las Vegas gets precious few days to actually head out to the patio and drink. Those days are numbered right now, because when the temperatures hit triple digits, all the misters in the world won’t get you to head out on the patio. So, for now, try these five outdoor patios for a drink. Many also have the bonus of a view to kill.

1 Skyfall

Next door to Rivea at the Delano, find Skyfall on the 63rd floor of the resort. Grab a cocktail and sit out on the patio with its 180-degree views of the city through floor-to-ceiling windows. Deep purples, reds and honey golds decorate the space, and clouds hang overhead. This may be one of the best places to watch the sunset and toast the night.

2 Ghostbar

Head up to the 55th floor of the Ivory Tower at the Palms to find Ghostbar with its views of Vegas from west of the Strip. White seats sit on both sides of patio along with faux greenery. Inside, guests who don't want to venture out on the terrace to look through the floor window looking down 55 floors can gaze out the 14-foot floor-to-ceiling windows.
Palms, 4321 Flamingo Road, (702) 942-6832

3 Rhumbar

If rum and cigars are your fancy, head out to Rhumbar. The patio overlooking the volcano at the Mirage features a green and teal palette against a white background with a Caribbean feel.
Mirage, 3400 Las Vegas Blvd. S., (702) 791-7111

4 Vice Versa Patio Lounge

Vdara has its own patio at the front of the resort. Vice Versa features “twisted” cocktails, fire pits and couches that look over at Aria.
Vdara, 2600 W. Harmon Ave., (702) 590-2111

5 Beer Park

Spend an afternoon at the ballpark at Beer Park at Paris with its patio overlooking the Strip. Customers can drink beer in souvenir cups at the lower-level entrance and then walk up a spiral staircase to the open-air "park." Sit at communal picnic tables and find a lawn for games such as pool, bean bag toss and darts.
