‘Hammock House’ Breaks Multiple Records in Miami’s Coconut Grove Neighborhood
“Hammock House,” a modern mansion in Miami’s Coconut Grove neighborhood, recently sold for $5,082,000, breaking two records the sough-after community, according to press materials.
Sited on nearly 20,000 square feet within a lush tropical hammock, the 6,212-square-foot residence is the first ever non-waterfront home in Coconut Grove to sell over $5 million, as well as the highest-priced-per-square-foot ($818 per square foot) non-waterfront home to sell.
Designed by architect Shulman + Associates and built in 2014, Hammock House, with six bedrooms and seven-and-a-half bathrooms, is equipped with the latest Control 4 automation system, Lutron lightning, video security, a custom-designed Boffi kitchen, and Boffi bathrooms.
