On Tuesday, April 4, The Shops Buckhead Atlanta celebrated the annual Olmsted Plein Air Invitational with an outdoor art festival. The Artist Mingle event drew more than 300 people. The center’s signature galleries, Anne O Art Gallery and Buckhead Art Gallery, hosted cocktail receptions to kick off the evening with meet and greets with 30 of the nation’s top painting masters. Then guests moved outside to the outdoor festival which took over Buckhead Avenue with live music, a flower market, custom cocktails and more. The silent auction was a hit — guests bid on donated items from some of the center’s top luxury and contemporary retailers. Also for the first time at this year’s event, guests purchased paintings from the competing Plein Air Invitational artists directly off the easel.
