Weekend Roundup: Christopher Kane Opens Pop-Up on Bond Street
Christopher Kane has opened his second London store on Old Bond Street. The pop- up features ready-to-wear pieces designed exclusively for the shop.
Scottish fashion designer Christopher Kane has opened a pop-up boutique on London’s luxurious Bond Street. The shop features ready-to-wear pieces made exclusively for the sleek new store. “I grew up knowing this street, seeing all the big brands on it. I’ve had to pinch myself now that I’m here. It feels very strange – but brilliant,” said Kane at his launch party.

Neutral tones and polished glass accents shine through the 50 sq m pop-up’s interior, mirroring the decor of the two-story flagship boutique on Mount Street. Kane’s official London flagship, which opened in 2015, will remain open while the pop-up is in place.

Kane is known to “rock” the boat with his designs, frequently surprising fashionistas with his bold creations. His recent collaboration with Crocs includes a collection of natural and lab-grown pebble embellished shoes- yabba dabba doo.

The pop-up will remain open for the rest of 2017 with plans on hosting various cultural events and collaborating with local partners for product launches. Christopher Kane’s Pop-Up is located at 15 Old Bond St, Mayfair, London W1S 4PR.
