Champagne and Shampoo Sundays takes the hair salon experience to a new level, featuring complimentary glasses of bubbly 
and a DJ every Sunday, beginning January 22nd. The DJ will keep the vibes going while guests sit back, relax and enjoy a full line of services, offered by the Kelly Cardenas Salon’s team of professionals.
The Kelly Cardenas Salon recently expanded their salon presence just minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. Just last month, the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino welcomed the upscale Paul Mitchell focus hair salon by celebrity stylist, Kelly Cardenas and salon partner, Marc Jay.
The Kelly Cardenas Salon provides a full line of services such as haircuts, color, treatments, blowouts, extensions and a special area for makeup services and eyelash application. These highly trained stylists are experts at recognizing what works for each guest’s face shape and customizing a cut to work on him or her. The same goes for coloring and matching each guest’s skin tone.
Cardenas has been doing hair for 24 years and has styled everyone from Steve Aoki, Stacy Kiebler, Shannon Elizabeth and many other celebrities throughout his career. Cardenas believes in building relationships with all of his clients and providing every guest with the same top-notch service and experience.
“I realized that helping every single person in the chair to feel like a celebrity paid so much more dividend than the opposite side,” said Cardenas. “We want to make sure that every single person that steps foot in any of our locations, especially the Hard Rock, feel like they’re the biggest A-list celebrity in the world.”
The Kelly Cardenas Salon’s team genuinely care about each other and the guests that come into the salon. Cardenas believes the salon’s level of service comes from a culture within the business and communication with the guests. Upon entering the salon, guests will be immediately impressed by the trendy black studded reception area where guests are welcomed by the team. The styling area is bright and spacious with blow dryers draping down from the ceiling, followed by the vibrant “Color Bar,” which instead of mirrors, offers an amazing view of the Hard Rock’s pool and beach club.
The crescendo is the “Wash House,” a completely separate area with low lights and tranquil music, where guests indulge in a soothing neck and shoulder massage along with their routine shampoo.
The Kelly Cardenas Salon has locations in Carlsbad, California; Chicago, Salt Lake City and of course Las Vegas. For now, the Hard Rock location is the only one offering Champagne and Shampoo Sundays, so stop by, get your hair done and join in on the ‘Sunday Funday’ experience.
