Inside Angela Birdman’s Walk in Style for the Animals at Saks
Angela Birdman and her “Wolfpack” (which could refer to Birdman’s three Siberian Huskies or her cadre of stylish girlfriends) hosted Walk in Style for the Animals with Aquazzura and Haute Living at Saks Fifth Avenue Bal Harbour. The shoe-focused shopping event was designed as a fundraising offshoot of the Humane Society of Greater Miami’s Walk for the Animals.
Aquazzura was the evening’s shoe partner, offering up a portion of the evening’s shoe sales to the Humane Society of Greater Miami. Aquazzura’s founder and creative director, Edgardo Osorio, flew in from Italy to greet guests, and draw sketches of customer’s Aquazzura purchases. They also donated a pair of shoes for a raffle, which also raised funds for the cause.
Guests, who enjoyed drinks, nibbles and a dj, were able to bring their pups too, with one lucky puppy (pictured in Mrs. Birdman’s arms below) finding a home that very night. Birdman addressed the crowd, “Saks Fifth Avenue is a fabulous partner and I look forward to many, many Walk in Style for the Animals!”
