Every stylish Bostonian knows who Michael De Paulo is – the young, trend setting, fashion forward designer who has brought the true meaning of haute couture to Boston. His luxe designs can be seen on Hollywood actresses, sophisticated brides and well known Bostonians like Linda Pizzuti Henry, wife of Red Sox owner John Henry.

The Northeastern University graduate uses his masters degree in architecture to create luxurious evening wear that combines geometric design elements with stunning silhouettes using intricate detailing such as beading, pleats, custom prints, and geometric draping.

Michael De Paulo’s gowns can found at specialty stores nationwide and through special order at Saks Fifth Avenue.

We caught up recently with De Paulo to find out what he loves most about Boston.
