Singer Céline Dion celebrated her 1,000th show in Las Vegas on Saturday night. Dion performed a collection of her hits to the sold-out crowd at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The night started with an emotional video that highlighted memorable moments over the almost 14 years that Céline has performed in the Colosseum and closed with a breathtaking finale of bronze and silver confetti and balloons raining down on the stage and crowd in celebration.

All 4,298 guests who attended the special, sold-out performance received a commemorate program book and lenticular credential as a gift to memorialize the milestone.

Céline’s first Las Vegas residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace featured 717 performances from March 25, 2003, to Dec. 15, 2007. “A New Day…” was created and directed by Franco Dragone.

After a three-year break from Las Vegas, Céline returned on March 15, 2011, with a glamorous new show directed by legendary Grammy Awards producer Ken Ehrlich aptly titled, “Céline at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.”
