You Can Eat Unlimited Bacon at NYC’s The Great Big Bacon Picnic

Spread out your picnic blanket because there will be bacon, and lots of it, at this year’s The Great Big Bacon Picnic.

Returning for its second year, the weekend long festival, which will be held from Sept. 24 to Sept. 25 at The Old Pfizer Factory in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, glorifies (you guessed it) beloved bacon.

The Great Big Bacon Picnic
The Great Big Bacon Festival will be serving up unlimited bacon and booze concoctions from over 100 of New York City’s ingenious bacon connoisseurs, including BarBacon, Kings County Distillery, Sixpoint Brewery, and Tellers.

The event, co-founded in 2015 by bacon enthusiasts and brothers, Craig and Lon Taylor, will once again intermingle New York City’s savvy chefs, brewmasters, mixologists, distillers, and all types of culinary experts for a gourmet feast of bite-sized bacon dishes and bacon-infused libations.

With this year’s festival serving up even more unlimited bacon and booze concoctions from over 100 of New York City’s ingenious bacon connoisseurs––including, BarBaconKings County Distillery, Sixpoint Brewery, and Tellers––it will certainly be a picnic. And for entertainment, Brooklyn-based High & Mighty Brass Band will be performing at the venue.

“We couldn’t be happier with the way The Great Big Bacon Picnic went its first year…” says Craig and Lon Taylor. “We will push the bar even higher this year, and remain committed to providing bacon lovers with the best in culinary creativity and skill, along with local top-shelf spirits and craft beers in an immersive and fun environment, while also giving back to the local community.
