What’s Inside the Hampton’s Decorator Showhouse

We like showhouses and all the interior design perfection they have on offer. They make you want to live a stylishly perfect life, without a shred of clutter in sight. Marie Kondo to the rescue!

So when we learned the dates of  The Hampton Designer Showhouse we were quick to put in our calendar. You know it will be a very worthwhile stop, no matter how busy your social calendar, since there are so many mega-design talents are on the East End in summer, either to work or to play, many of whom take part in this event, now in its 16th year. 

The Showhouse kicked off with a Gala Preview Cocktail Party on Saturday, July 23^rd, 2016.  Nearly 400 guests came out for the event, despite the record temperatures. Mario Buatta served as the Honorary Showhouse Chairman; Jamie Drake and Alexa Hampton as Honorary Design Co-Chairmen. Sponsors included Kohler Co. and  Saunders. Proceeds will benefit Southampton Hospital.

 This year the Showhouse is housed in a traditional Shingle Style house, located at 1597 Noyac Path in Sag Harbor. It was donated by Bodenchak Design and Build.

The Showhouse will be open to the public through Labor Day, Monday, September 5, 2016.  Hours are Monday through Sunday, 11:00 AM to  5:00 PM. Admission is $35. The Showhouse boutique was provided by Deluxe.  For more information about the Showhouse and to purchase tickets, visit www.hamptondesignershowhouse.com.
