Tesco to Open Finest Pop-up Wine Bar In London’s Soho
Tesco in the business of fine wine? It’s very real, and it’s coming for you in Londontown this August. The nationwide supermarket is delving into the world of pop-up shops, this time highlighting their selection of Finest* wines. The pop-up’s visitors in Soho will be able to sample one, or all, of their 70+ finest wines. A specially curated selection of discovery wine flights will also be available in order to help visitors discover varieties that they hadn’t seen before. If having to chose from over 70 wines overwhelms you don’t fret, specialist members of the Tesco wine team and other industry connoisseurs will be on deck to give expert advice and answer any of your questions.
Elisabetta Farroni, Tesco senior brand manager, said: “Tesco is incredibly proud of the quality of the finest wine range. For the past three years, finest has been awarded ‘Own-Label Range of the Year’ by the International Wine Challenge. Showcasing the range through a pop-up wine bar is the perfect way to demonstrate the high quality of our wines directly to the public.”

James Davis, wine category buying manager, said: “Consumers often veer towards wine styles that they are familiar with such as Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay. The finest wine bar offers the perfect opportunity for us to share our knowledge and passion for wine with enthusiasts who are keen to step out of their comfort zone, explore different wines and ultimately be more adventurous when they visit the wine aisle. ”
