SoH Art+Beauty Unveils Works Of Max Zorn
SoH Art+Beauty has announced its latest collaboration with Max Zorn, the supremely talented tape artist. Zorn has created several pieces inspired by the United Arab Emirates, which are now exclusively on display at the salon cum art space.
Zorn emerged as an urban artist in 2011, when he began hanging tape art on street lamps under the cover of anonymity. Zorn’s work was frequently found dotted across the street lamps of cities such as London, Madrid, Lisbon and Berlin.
Using a surgeon’s scalpel as a brush, Zorn creates his “tape art” by using ordinary, brown packing tape as his medium. With layering techniques, Zorn applies the tape on an acrylic glass that, when illuminated from behind, reveals contrasts and warmth that has blown away those who have seen his works.
Pushing creative boundaries even further, SoH Art+Beauty continues to establish itself as a one-of- a-kind creative hub and leader in showcasing some of the world’s most intriguing talents with the aim to inspire both it’s customers and aspiring regional artists and designers.
Concept-Me Launches Dubai Creative Hub
Dubai’s elite and creative crowd ventured out for the highly anticipated launch of Concept-Me, the new face of design in the region. Concept Me is a dynamic space incorporating all aspects of Design, Interiors, Art and Architecture in one space to create a ‘singular experience’.
Guests were welcomed to the two story ‘creative den’ full of eclectic design pieces, abstract art, unique crafted artefacts and interiors. The space houses a fully facilitated design-to- build studio service in collaboration with Orproject.
The founder Nina Parvaresh was accompanied by the representatives of the multiple brands and ‘creatives’ collaborating with Concept-Me showcased in the space, enlightening the captivated crowd on the creativity and diversity of products available.
The one-of- a-kind space is now open to the public on weekdays from 9-6pm and has many new projects in the pipeline, including limited edition interior artifacts arriving daily.
