Agent Provocateur has always stood for the merging of high fashion with sexy lingerie, two things that don’t go together as often as we’d like. So we’re quite excited about the bringing together of the edgy, high-glamour British shoe and accessory brand Charlotte Olympia.
The capsule collection launches on January 18, just in time for Valentine’s Day. The collection will be available on CharlotteOlympia.com and AgentProvocateur.com, as well as at Bal Harbour Shops’ Charlotte Olympia store.
Get Caught in Charlotte’s Web (shown above) is a fun take on retro-chic underwear with high-waisted briefs, removable suspenders and a “Trixie” g-string. The webbing is made from fine French embroidery, highlighted with lurex thread for a sheen, complete with little spider hardware. Get the whole set for $1,495.
“I love the playful and seductive allure Agent Provocateur evokes, which complements our shared visions and feminine brand sensibilities,” says Creative Director and CEO of Charlotte Olympia, Charlotte Olympia Dellal. It was a pleasure to design my first lingerie collection with Sarah; we both wanted to create a beautiful and timeless collection that champions the signature design features of the two brands. For the shoes, it was important the designs could be worn in and out of the bedroom.”
Each piece will feature the ‘Charlotte Olympia Hearts Agent Provocateur’ logo and the collection will be packaged in a bespoke shoe box and dust bag. Pretty chic, right? Agent Provocateur’s Creative Director Sarah Shotton sure thinks so, saying, “We’ve tried to make the lingerie combine the best of both brands, Agent Provocateur’s signature designs and Charlotte’s iconic prints and details creating a sexy yet playful lingerie collection. My favourite items are the More is More boots as it will add a provocative edge to every woman’s wardrobe and the Caught in Charlotte’s Web Soiree lingerie set”.
