Tots of the rich and famous are about to get a haute new closet upgrade thanks to a collection of couture essentials from Balmain.

That’s right, the brand favored by style mavens such as the Kardashians, Gigi Hadid and Jada Pinkett-Smith is launching a 55-piece kids’ collection this June.

The line, which will be sold at the French fashion house’s boutiques as well as online, is, quite naturally, opulent. In a photo posted to Instagram to accompany the announcement, four pint-sized, well-dressed children are clad in recognizable pieces like skinny pants with moto detailing, velvet and gold-tipped boots, Japanese denim,a zebra-patterned top, a selection of shoes miniaturized from the runway, a fur coat and gold-buttoned blazers. Fans may recognize some of the items specifically, as the mini-styles are playful adaptations of pieces found on the catwalk during recent past men’s and women’s runway shows.

Like all things Balmain, the pricepoint on its new children’s collection isn’t for everyone. Prices start at $205 for a sleeveless T-shirt and extend to $5,955 for an embroidered black dress.

The brand, which is helmed by Olivier Rousteing, is targeting boys and girls aged 6 to 14. It will be produced in-house.

“These are the same looks that, over the years, moms and dads have repeatedly pleaded with me to produce for their kids,” the designer said in a statement.

We have one guess as to who one parent/child set is, at least: Rousteing already designs for both Kim Kardashian-West and her little one, North West.

It also makes sense, then, that the first child of Kardashian-West and husband Kanye West was actually the inspiration for the collection. “I think I first thought about designing kidswear when I dressed North,” he told Vogue. “I had a conversation with Kim, and that was the beginning of how I really understood that the Balmain universe can also belong to kids.”
