Haute 100: Pitbull’s New Year’s Revolution Returns With a Haute Lineup

The New Year is swiftly approaching, which means television networks are gearing up for their New Year’s Eve bash. Fox network may have one of the hautest lineups to ring in 2016. The network will return with Pitbull’s New Year’s Revolution with a slew of performances and celebrity hosts.

The network has confirmed the New Year’s eve fête will be co-hosted by Terry Crews and Wendy Williams. In addition to Pitbull performing his hautest hits, the celebration will feature EMPIRE’s Tmbaland and Yazz, who will share the stage for the first time on television as well as Jussie Smollett, performing songs from the Golden Globe- and Grammy Award-nominated series. The live event will also feature performances by Puff Daddy and the Family, Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello, Prince Royce, Austin Mahone, R. City, Pia Mia and the Grammy award-wining band Earth, Wind & Fire.

For the second year in a row, MetroPCS will sponsor Pitbull’s New Year’s Revolution and host behind-the-scenes content from the event via the social media app Periscope, which is by Twitter. Also joining for a second year, the Fiat brand will partner with Pitbull’s New Year’s Revolution, with a presence on the main stage at Miami’s Bayfront Park.

The live fête will take place at Miami’s Bayfront Park, the show kicks off on New Year’s Eve between 8-10 p.m. EST. Then, following local news, Pitbull’s New Year’s Revolution returns from 11-12:30 a.m. EST for the final countdown to the New Year.

Pitbull has had a successful 2015, to say the least. He was involved in a number of haute events. In October, Mr. 305 was announced as the Godfather of Norwegian Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Norwegian Escape. He was also part of the groundbreaking ceremony for the new charter school, Sports Leadership and Management Academy, in Henderson, Las Vegas. The Miami native also had a Las Vegas residency at The Axis at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino called the “Time of Our Lives.”
