Perhaps you have been to a party on a rooftop or on a boat, but have you ever been to an underwater nightclub? Didn’t think so. Atlantis at The Palm, Dubai is launching the first-ever monthly clubbing concept under the sea.

Ten meters below the ocean the ‘Deep Under’ night finally kicked off on Thursday, October 22nd. Atlantis’ infamous Lost Chambers Aquarium set the backdrop for he new monthly fete. This means while guests enjoyed crafted cocktails, they were surrounded by over 65,000 aquatic species. Party with your new stingray, shark, and baby alligator friends, all from the comfort of the glass chambers.

The vibe will stay consistent to the ‘deep’ theme throughout. Their rotation of DJs began with a feature of deep house stars DJ Frederick Stone and Jixo and Danz. Other noted deep house DJs have been scheduled for their events in the coming months.

The ‘Deep Under’ club night has all of the elements found in a traditional club, just in an untraditional setting. Every month they will transform the underwater aquarium into a purpose-built club complete with a full bar, standing tables, DJ booth and of course, a dance floor. The venue holds up to 450 haute clubbers who can only enter via guest list.
Standing table packages are available starting from Dhs2,500. Standard door policy applies, with mixed groups and couples only.
