Earlier in the day, at the lunch, she explained to the group that modeling is her job, it isn’t who she is, Cindy Crawford is a creation, and in her book she acknowledges the people she has worked with saying her favorite part of modeling is having the opportunity to be a part of a great team and working with some of the most talented artists out there in a section titled “Even I don’t wake up looking like Cindy Crawford.” To this, her mother-in-law, Ellen Gould, interrupted and said “I just want to say one thing, she is god damn gorgeous.”

The book is a chronicle of her life in the form of 50 photos and 50 essays in celebration of her 50th birthday in which she shares stories of her professional evolution. It is dedicated to her two kids saying “I hope you see past the pictures to the true beauty, which is life. “ In the book, Crawford talks about getting older and says “I wish I could say it’s easy for me to be getting older, after all I’ve had a lot of fun in this body.”
