Chopard recently paris with Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons to host an exclusive event celebrating the happy spirit of its Happy Diamonds Collection. Taking place at The Mine in Al Quoz, Dubai, the event was a unique recreation of a fun game hall complete with lovely canapés and drinks.
The setting reflected the mood of Chopard’s Happy Diamonds collection: lots of carefree games in a dazzling ambiance. The brand chose The Mine, a contemporary, unconventional art space located in Al Quoz industrial area. The event was sparkling and spirited, animated by one-of-a-kind activities, through which guests could propel themselves in the twirling world of Chopard’s Happy Diamonds Collection. A lively female DJ gave a good vibe guiding the dance steps of visitors – embodying the very feeling of freedom that surrounds the carefree spirit of this iconic collection. Guests were delighted throughout the evening through exquisite cocktails, instant photos and amusing props games.
Ever since its creation, Chopard Happy Diamonds Collection has distinguished itself by the joyful swirl of precious dancing diamonds. Delicate and timeless, yet also daring and modern, the Happy Diamonds Collection portrays independent personalities. It projects the idea of carpe diem – live life in the present and to the fullest.
The collection, which the Geneva-based manufacture recently launched during the last Basel Fair 2015, was inspired by nature and represents pop art inspired flowers with a modern twist. The floral Happy Diamonds Collection comprises a pendant, ring and earrings in 18-carat white or rose gold. In the past, Chopard’s most iconic collection has similarly nurtured a passion for hearts. Its Happy Hearts Collection likewise acquired a new look when Chopard revisited this love collection by combining its lucky charm, the heart, with precious colours. Henceforth, the traditionally openwork hearts have now become “solid” turquoise, onyx or mother-of-pearl hearts placed along slim white or rose gold chains.The playful spirit of the Happy Diamonds Collection is also found in the Happy Diamonds signature design watches where mobile and free of all settings, diamonds dance joyfully between two sapphire crystals.
This elegant and exceptionally unique event in Dubai merged the beauty of Chopard’s stunning gemstone creations in stylish and artistic setting. Offering a relaxed and laid-back ambiance, guests poured from early evening until late at night to listen to the DJ’s catchy vibes, play a few games and peruse the Chopard’s illustrious jewelry designs. “Happy” was certainly the mood of the evening and one which lives on through the Happy Diamonds Collection.
