6 Upscale Spots for Miami’s Hautest Coffee

In Miami, coffee, Cuban or otherwise, is more than a morning caffeine fix – it’s a way of life. And since nothing in the Magic City is less than amazing, head to one of these six coffee shops for a morning (or 3:05) brew that’s sure to be hotter than the rest:

Eternity Coffee

Eternity Coffee Roasters: Located in Downtown Miami, Eternity Coffee Roasters has become popular for its pour-over coffee brews. Through this process, single-origin coffee beans from the mountains of Kenya, Colombia an Ethiopia are roasted in-house and ground, and hot water is slowly poured over them as the coffee drains into a glass funnel cone. While it closes earlier than most coffee shops, Eternity has plenty of tables and seating, free Wi-Fi and smooth, potent brews. Eternity Coffee Roasters is located at 117 SE 2nd Avenue. It is open Mondays through Fridays, from 8:30AM to 6PM, and on Saturdays, from 9AM to 4PM.

NESTLE NESPRESSO BOUTIQUE

Nespresso: We’ve all seen Nespresso’s fancy, in-home coffee makers – but here in Miami, their South Florida flagship boutique also has a trendy, in-store restaurant. Featuring the brand’s complete line of espresso capsules and machines, this branch of the world-renowned coffee chain also has a café that serves paninis, fancy coffee drinks, wine, pastries, breakfast parfaits and more. Nespresso’s flagship location at 1111 Lincoln Road.

Aroma Espresso

Aroma Espresso Bar: Perched everywhere you want to be – like Sunny Isles, South Beach and Dadeland Mall – Aroma Espresso Bar is Miami’s very own European coffee shop. With its spacious and comfortable cafés, trendy vibes, and must-try menu of gourmet coffee drinks, homemade breads and pastries, made-to-order sandwiches, and even wine and beer, it’s the “see and be seen” spot for the Magic City’s most beautiful coffee lovers. Aroma Espresso Bar has five locations in South Florida: Dadeland Mall, North Miami, Sunny Isles, and two South Beach locations – one outside the Loews Hotel and another on Collins & 5th.

Puroast

Puroast® Coffee: What was once only a B2B coffee brand is now Miami’s hottest new Brickell coffee outpost. Taking it back to where the art of coffee making truly began – in the homes of coffee growers in the Venezuelan Andes – this one-of-a-kind shop has revived the traditional coffee “hacienda.” Offering everything from haute coffee drinks to Venezuelan breakfast pastries, flatbread sandwiches, light salads and more, this South American standalone is the perfect place to catch up with friends, people-watch, curl up with a good book, or simply enjoy a quality cup o’ Joe. Puroast® Coffee café is located at 632 S. Miami Avenue. It is open Monday through Saturday, from 7 AM – 7 PM.

Pasion del Cielo

Pasion del Cielo: Miami’s homegrown, slightly-more-haute-than-Starbucks coffee chain, Pasion del Cielo, is as tasty as it is boutique. With locations everywhere from South Miami and the Gables, to residential Kendall, Midtown and more to come, this cozy shop brings the world to you through coffee. Unlike other locales, it lets patrons choose their own beans from its hottest coffee countries around the world – like Guatemala, Colombia, Hawaii, Brazil, Costa Rica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Cuba, Peru, Honduras and Jamaica. Pasion del Cielo has five locations in Miami: Downtown Dadeland, the Shops at Midtown, Sunset Place, Coral Gables and The Falls. Future locations already in progress in South Beach and Doral.

Panther Coffee

Panther Coffee: More “hipster” than other Miami coffee spots, Panther Coffee is where in-the-know Miami locals go to unwind, drink high-quality coffee and have deep conversations with friends. Popular for its small-batch coffee bean roasts, inventive drinks and laid-back vibes, this one-of-a-kind spot is largely inspired by its artsy and creative neighborhood. Panther Coffee has three locations in South Florida: Wynwood, Coconut Grove and Sunset Harbour.
