Death Valley, CA

Lake Mead, NV
The closest big body of water to Las Vegas is a quick hour drive to Lake Mead. When you tire of pools filled with party girls spilling drinks, you might want to take a dip in some fresh, natural water. In which case, you should definitely head to Lake Mead. Here you will find people soaking up the sun on boats, jet skis, and just swimming about. It is in fact the sole source of usable water in Southern Nevada.
Zion National Park, UT
This is the option for those who enjoy taking the scenic route in life. Get in your vehicle, preferably a convertible, and start your journey through Nevada and Arizona. This picturesque route will take you into desert terrain before reaching Utah. Once you get here, the desert turns to greenery and you’ll be able to enjoy exploring waterfalls, rock formations and the shade of big trees. You’ll be surprise how much you missed the natural shade of a beautiful tree.
Grand Canyon, AZ
The Grand Canyon is the obvious choice when it comes to road trip destinations, and for very good reason. It could be because it’s one of the natural wonders of the world… just a thought. It’s a scenic 4-hour drive from the strip or a 45-minute ride by helicopter. Either way, you are going to be blown away. It is one of the most stunning sites in the world. The kind that makes you focus on the beauty of nature and forget about your trivial every day issues. It is said that the South Rim is the nicest part with the best views.
Los Angeles, CA
If you want to get away from casino culture but still be surrounded by city life, Los Angeles is the road trip for you. Beautiful beaches, world-class restaurants and shopping are just some things LA is so famous for. It’s a great alternative to get away from the craziness of Vegas and relax in a calm and collected city that is just a 4-hour drive away.
