Spoon Cereals presents A Breakfast Festival

To celebrate the launch of their new product range, Jonny Shimmin and Annie Morris, the duo behind Spoon Cereals will be hosting a three day breakfast festival, No Small Talk before Breakfast, at Studio 2 in Shoreditch from Friday 17th to Sunday 19th July.

The festival will celebrate everything that’s great about mornings, and will see Spoon Cereals collaborate with a range of likeminded start-ups and fellow morning lovers from the worlds of food, drink, fashion and fitness, to present inspiring events that will aim to get Londoners jumping out of their beds. Expect a beautifully curated interior from Wickenden Hutley, inspired by the clean, contemporary Spoon Cereals branding.

Those attending will be amongst some of the first to try Spoon Cereal’s new granola, which officially launches nationwide this autumn, and can chose to have it topped with gourmet natural yoghurt from The Collective, seasonal fruits or superfood toppings, all served from their custom made breakfast bar.  Expect breakfast canapés on arrival as well as cold press juices, almond milks and speciality coffee from the likes of Botanic Lab, The Pressery, and Noble Espresso.  For those that fancy a pre-breakfast cleanse, guests can enjoy the indoor herbal tea garden to create a bespoke blend.

Each day of the festival there’ll be an early morning fitness class for those endorphin junkies wanting to kick off their day. Wireless Fitness will be on hand to pump up the volume with a silent disco, with other fitness professionals there to lead classes and offer advice. For a more leisurely start, browse through the Spoon Cereals pop up shop which will be selling kitchenware collections, cookbooks and of course, Spoon granola to enjoy at home.

On Saturday and Sunday the events will extend throughout the day, and will include a curated series of talks and debates, in addition to the breakfast bar and morning classes. Jonny and Annie will be welcoming their friends from the food start-up industry as well as a host of inspirational and creative speakers to talk about subjects that remain close to Spoon Cereal’s values and beliefs, including what makes London an exciting place for entrepreneurs and advice on making a small business thrive. Speakers will be confirmed in the coming weeks, and already include notable personalities from the food, wellness, and fitness industries. And to snack on during the talks? Nutritious salads from Lunchbxd.

Talking of their reasoning for hosting the festival, Jonny and Annie say: “Before Spoon we found mornings a struggle, but we have always known the importance of a satisfying and healthy breakfast to get you going. Since launching Spoon Cereals, we have learnt that it is also how you spend your mornings that determine your mind set and general wellbeing for the rest of the day. That’s why we are on a mission to give people a good reason to jump out of bed in the morning.”
