Grammy Award-winning artist Lil Wayne delivered an explosive performance at LiFE Nightclub inside SLS Las Vegas to celebrate Independence Day and the release of his brand new Free Weezy album. Undaunted by the scandal surrounding the shooting of his “God Bless Amerika” music video, the Young Money mogul kicked off the epic celebration with a warm welcome to partygoers, including legendary rapper DMX, who received a special shout out during the show.

At 2:30 a.m., Lil Wayne performed hit singles “I’m Goin In,” “Sorry For The Wait,” “Money Power Respect,” “Coco,” “Wasted,” “Truffle Butter,” “Got Money” and more. The packed crowd immediately went wild as he dropped his long-awaited album, hyping up fans with two new songs that had never been heard before. After his performance, Lil Wayne retreated to his VIP booth, where he and his crew danced and popped bottles of Ciroc Peach and Dom Perignon.

Also in attendance, professional basketball player Lamar Odom and chart-topping rapper O.T. Genasis were seen partying at their VIP tables until the early morning hours.
