Italian menswear brand ISAIA opened its doors to VIPs in Beverly Hills last week on Brighton Way, giving gentlemen with a penchant for high-end clothing yet another bespoke place to shop.

According to global CEO Gianluca Isaia, the brand—which also opened a flagship on Madison Avenue in Manhattan—will “represent being at the upper echelon of the luxury market” and will cater to the “new gentleman—one who is passionate, intellectual and charming in an unconventional way.”

The boutique, located at 9527 Brighton Way and positioned just to the right of Rodeo Drive, offers a custom tailor shop encased in glass so that guests can watch the tailors at work, a vintage Campari bar, a red lacquered piano to be used as a Made to Measure table (or played on a whim by its patrons) and a Vesuvio Room—a space for VIPs located within each of the brand’s boutiques.

Its Los Angeles location works with its surrounding for a contemporary and comfortably elegant feel. Here you’ll find a beautiful, ivy-covered exterior, large glass windows and contemporary features throughout the 3,000 square foot space.

For those unfamiliar with the line, ISAIA is a luxury lifestyle brand for men who pay attention to detail. Each garment incorporates the essence of the Neapolitan sartorial tradition, re-interpreted in a contemporary way.

It celebrated its west coast launch in a very L.A. way: with an intimate cocktail party benefitting PSLA at a private estate last Thursday attended by Amber Valetta, George Kotsiopoulos, Julia Sorkin, Angelique Soave, Julie Jaffe, N.J. Goldston and Brooke Davenport with a DJ set by The Dolls. Prior to the fete, Isaia hosted members of the Beverly Hills City Council for a coral pinning ceremony (the red coral is a symbol of good luck) and celebratory toast at the new store.

The boutique will officially open this September.
