Virgin Hotels has announced it will open a new hotel property in Dallas.
The ultra-chic hotel will be placed on High Line Drive and Turtle Creek Boulevard, one of Dallas’ hautest neighborhoods. The lifestyle property will feature more than 200 chambers, which are lifestyle-focused rooms that include a dressing room as well as a sleeping lounge. The chambers are separated by a sliding set of privacy doors and complete with a second peephole. The plush property will also feature top tier chambers called the Grand Chamber Suites.
There will be a host of lush amenities such the brand’s flagship space The Commons Club, fusion of a bar/lounge, laid-back study and restaurant as well as a rooftop terrace with a pool, gym and spa, plus numerous meeting spaces.
“We’re ecstatic to be a part of the new fabric of the Dallas Design District and play a role in continuation of the neighborhood’s growth,” said Raul Leal, Virgin Hotels CEO. “With chic stores, eclectic galleries and upscale restaurants, we expect Virgin Hotels Dallas to move into the neighborhood seamlessly, as its aesthetic and offerings will attract the growing local creative class and business travellers that will call the Design District home.”
Virgin Hotel Dallas will be a new build located within the 33acress that developer Dunhill Partners and its founder Bill Hutchinson acquired in 2014.
With the property placed in close vicinity of topnotch furniture showrooms, avant-garde art galleries, museums, antique shops and an influx of haute new restaurants and shops, guests will never be bored.
Virgin Hotel Dallas is slated to open in 2018.
Currently, the Virgin Group, the parent company of Virgin Hotels, has a hotel in Chicago, with Nashville and New York scheduled to open next.
