Auctions America Brings Rare Vintage Cars to SoCal

For the first time ever, Auctions America, a company that specializes in the sale of American classics, European sports cars, Detroit muscle, hot rods and customswill be taking over Santa Monica’s historic Barker Hanger with its multi-day auction filled weekend with one-of-kind automobiles.

From Thursday, July 16 through Saturday, July 18th, auto enthusiasts can view a diverse roster of nearly 300 quality collector cars and select memorabilia from European and American sports cars to prewar classics, hot rods and customs.

Headline attractions include a stunning pair of Ferraris, including a 1967 Ferrari 330 GTS and a 2004 Ferrari Enzo.

The sale also includes a superb group of Porsches, including a correct 1955 Porsche 356 Pre-A Speedster, a very well optioned 1964 Porsche 365C 1600 SC ‘Sunroof’ Coupe presented with the rare Sunroof option and a 1996 Porsche 911 Twin Turbo Coupe, resplendent in classic black on black color and powered  by the marque’s final twin turbo air-cooled motor.

Auction cars with celebrity ties include the Ex-Mamie Eisenhower 1955 Cadillac Series 75 Presidential Parade Limousine and the 1955 Ford “Beatnik Bubbletop” Custom owned by Barry Weiss, star of A&E’s “Storage Wars.”
