Haute Collaboration of the Week: Valentino & Aston Martin
Like peanut butter and jelly, ham and cheese, Tom Ford and Jay-Z and Cara Delevingne and Burberry, some collaborations were made to happen. Such is the case for the grand dame of pairings: Valentino and Aston Martin.
Valentino’s design directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli have decorated an Aston Martin Vanquish with its signature camouflage print in the name of charity, and it looks pretty darn beautiful.
The collaboration between Valentino and Q by Aston Martin, the British automaker’s bespoke personalization and customization service, was auctioned off in the name of charity by Cash & Rocket for three causes: Shine On Sierra Leone, Orphanaid Africa and Sumbandila.
In addition to its camo exterior, the car will also feature metal studs along its body.
