Strike a Pose with Voga at Coq d’Argent

This summer, City restaurant Coq d’Argent is teaming up with House of Voga to host monthly Voga classes. Classes will be held on the last Sunday of every month* in Coq d’ Argent’s stunning rooftop garden, and participants are invited to strike a pose surrounded by spectacular views over the City.


Voga is a fusion of yoga and ‘vogeuing’, set to an iconic 80s soundtrack. Taking participants through dynamic dance to dreamy disco, Voga combines the breath-synchronized movement of Yoga with the expressive moves of a dance class, fusing power and strength with attitude and flamboyance, where alignment is key. Voga is for everyone – all ages, all skills, all fitness levels – offering the chance to workout in stylish outfits while bringing nightlife cool into the realm of sweat and lycra.


DJ Deanne Oliver-Evans, also known as Blonde Ambition, will be providing the soundtrack to the classes, and guests are invited to enjoy her special three hour set during the VOGA launch party, taking place on 31st May.

Following the classes, which are priced at £15 per person, guests can then enjoy al fresco drinks and lunch at the renowned French restaurant. A Vogue d’Argent healthier cocktail and mocktail menu of refreshing, summery drinks will be available from the rooftop bar, including: The Horseradish Mary (tomato juice, bloody mary mix, vodka, celery); and Asian Pear Sparkle (Asian pear juice, rosemary, ginger juice, lemon juice, honey, nutmeg, gin and soda water); Virgin Apple Mojito (apple juice, mint, fresh lime, topped with soda); and the Lychee Collins (fresh lychees, mint, lime and sugar finished with lemonade). From the kitchen, head chef Damien Rigollet has created an indulgent Sunday menu (12 – 2.45pm, £26pp for two courses, and £29 for three) including dishes such asGrilled smoked salmon, pearl barley, broad beans and peas, and Courgette, tomato and aubergine caviar tart with goat’s cheese tempura.
