The Newest Fitness Craze Sweeping NYC: Yoga Cruises
Experience downward dog like you never have before: On a yoga cruise!

Whether you’re bored of the same old Bikram studio—or you’re looking to add some ah-mazing photos to your Instagram feed—we’ve got the solution for you: waterside yoga. But we’re not talking about your typical Vinyasa Flow class overlooking the East River. We want you to experience the tranquility of downward dog as you actually glide along the East River. Say, what?!
In an effort to keep New Yorkers in a namaste state-of-mind—no easy feat—Spirit of New York is offering monthly Yoga Cruises on select Saturdays (July 11, August 15, and Sept 26) this summer. Classes begin at 10:30 AM and are led by instructors from the renowned NOHO Strala Yoga studio—just be sure to bring your own mat.
Best of all—once you’ve worked up a sweat (and are hopefully feeling zen), you’ll be treated to a gourmet lunch filled with healthy bites as you sail around admiring views of the Manhattan skyline. Not a bad way to spend a Saturday!
